2026 Peach Tree Christmas Bird Count
It’s time to register for the Christmas Bird Counts (CBCs) in Hamilton!
The Peach Tree CBC is held in early January and covers the Stoney Creek and Grimsby-ish area. That includes your backyard bird feeders!
Email cmtrain@cmotherwell.com to register. Please try to register by December 8, 2025; late registrants will be asked to join existing groups or the ‘clean up’ crews. Each CBC must be registered for separately this year. We are using a new system provided by the Audubon to better automate CBCs across the continent. We strongly encourage the use of eBird for data submission – share your checklists with “hamiltoncbc” and make sure to still record distance travelled, size of party, and time spent!
