Bird Study Group: Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas

Join us to hear from Kaelyn Bumelis, Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas Assistant Coordinator from Birds Canada, about atlassing in the Hamilton area.
The Ontario Breeding Bird Atlas-3 (2021-2025) is a collaborative initiative that aims to map the abundance and distribution of Ontario’s close to 300 species of breeding birds. This enormous project is achievable only through the mass participation of the province’s birders! This presentation will cover what has been accomplished in the Hamilton area so far, what still needs to be done to reach the Atlas goals, and how to participate in the project!
