Fletcher Creek Ecological Preserve – North Section

Explore one of the most unique places in the Hamilton watershed. At the toe of the Galt Moraine we find large springs, one of the sources of Spencer Creek, northern plant communities embedded in a cedar swamp and a great Hemlock Maple Stand and the dedication plaque to Dr. Bert MacLaren. This spot is like a piece of ‘Up North’ right on our doorstep!
