Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop

February 25 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

HNC’s Pollinator Paradise Project (www.hamiltonpollinatorparadise.org) is a joint initiative that encourages residents across the city to grow native plants to support pollinators and wildlife. If you have a native fruit tree and are interested in learning how to prune it for health, stability, and aesthetic value then this workshop is for you!

Join Adrian Hodgson from Design Jam Permaculture to learn the proper techniques for pruning fruit trees. The workshop will be a combination of basic theory and hands-on practice, with time allotted for specific questions. The workshop will be held outdoors, so please dress according to the weather for a low-movement activity. Bring your own pruning secateurs if you have them.

Meet in the parking lot on the east side of the building, closest to the farm fields.
