Grimsby Wetlands Tour with Bruce Mackenzie

The award winning Grimsby Wetlands, a project of the Hamilton Naturalists’ Club, are found at the former Biggar Sewage Lagoons in the west end of Grimsby.

Join project coordinators Bruce and Laurie Mackenzie for a tour of this 29 acre property. Bruce and Laurie will share the story of the incredible efforts that went into conserving this parcel of land located on the south shore of Lake Ontario, and speak to the ongoing work that makes the Grimsby Wetlands a welcome home to an ever growing list of flora and fauna.

Street parking is available on Winston Rd. in Grimsby. Bruce will meet attendees at the location pinned in the link below.
