Hamilton EOY Awards

The Environmentalist of the Year (EOY) Awards are back! The EOY Awards stands as a testament to the tireless efforts and remarkable initiatives undertaken by individuals, groups, and businesses in nurturing and protecting our environment. Come celebrate Hamilton’s environmental champions by recognizing their outstanding contributions in our community at the evening awards gala. The Awards program is organized by a volunteer committee which includes the Club.
Congratulations to the winners of the 2023 awards:
- Dr. Victor Cecilioni Environmentalist of the Year Award – Stop Sprawl HamOnt for their incredible efforts combating urban sprawl and preserving Hamilton’s green spaces!
- Awards of Merit – Jordyn Boyer, Neal Bonner, and Sheelah Dooley
- Post-Secondary Youth Conservation Award – Armann Kotadia
- Environmental Youth Group or School Public Service Award – Youth Stewardship & Professional Skills Program (YSP) from Green Venture
- Youth Eco Project Award – Carbon Sink Project
- Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System Landowner Stewardship Award – Susan and Les MacMillan
