Invasive Shrub Pull

LOCATION CHANGE: Sheelah Dunn Dooley Nature Sanctuary

HNC staff need your help to manage the invasive shrubs at our Sheelah Dunn Dooley Nature Sanctuary to improve habitat for native species.

Join us to gain experience with invasive species removal, work out your muscles and meet like-minded people. Volunteers will be hand-pulling, girdling, or removing large shrubs with weed wrenches.

Volunteers will need to carry equipment 1.5 km roundtrip from the parking area to the removal site. Please bring close-toed shoes, long pants tucked into socks, a hat, and water. We will provide gloves and equipment.
