Invasive Shrub Pull

HNC staff need your help to clear patches of Common Buckthorn and Honeysuckle at Sheelah Dunn Dooley Nature Sanctuary to improve habitat for native species.
Join us on one or more of the four Saturday events to gain experience with invasive species removal, work out your muscles, meet like-minded people, have a snack, and take home a nursery-grown native plant for your efforts!
Volunteers will be hand-pulling, girdling, or removing large shrubs with weed wrenches. Please bring close-toed shoes, long pants tucked into socks, a hat, and water. We will provide gloves and equipment.
