Invasive Shrub Pull

HNC staff need your help to clear patches of Common Buckthorn at our Sheelah Dunn Dooley Nature Sanctuary to improve habitat for native species.

Join us on one of two Saturday events to gain experience with invasive species removal, work out your muscles and meet like-minded people.

Volunteers will be hand-pulling, girdling, or removing large shrubs with weed wrenches. Please bring close-toed shoes, long pants tucked into socks, a hat, and water. We will provide gloves and equipment.
