Monthly Meeting: A legacy worth protecting: Georgian Bay coastal marshes and biodiversity

This talk will describe the circumstances leading to the 20-year research program of Dr. Chow-Fraser on the coastal wetlands of eastern and northern Georgian Bay. She will summarize how human activities and climate change has affected biodiversity through the past two decades and efforts to protect wetlands and wildlife from recreational development.
