Monthly Meeting: Invasive Species in the Great Lakes

Join us to hear Lujanne Hamdan from Fisheries & Oceans Canada, talk about invasive species in the Great Lakes. Aquatic invasive species are fish, invertebrate or plant species that have been introduced into a new aquatic environment, outside of their natural range. Some of the more visible freshwater invaders in Canada include Asian carp, sea lamprey, and zebra mussels.

Location: McMaster Innovation Park, 175 Longwood Road South, Hamilton

Please park in Lot 1 or Lot 5, north of the building.  Meeting is in rooms C and D on the ground floor at the back of the atrium. Social time starts at 7:00 PM, talk begins at 7:30 PM.
