Plant Walk on The Bruce Trail behind The Walmart(!?) in Waterdown

Join Charlie Briggs for the June plant walk. This outing will be an unstructured, mindful and slow-paced hike along the Bruce Trail in the wooded area behind the human-made wetland area which is behind the Walmart in Waterdown. Time will be taken to identify and review what’s flowering (or just growing) and what’s flying (or just perching …or walking …or paddling).

This section of the Bruce Trail includes a few steep hills with rocky footings. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress according to the weather.

This area is reachable by bus (HSR Route 18) but a ride from a fellow walker will be needed after the walk.
