Join HNC’s Charlie Briggs and guest expert Nadia Cavallin for an unstructured, mindful and slow-paced hike reviewing the flowering plants that can be found at this time of year.
This month’s walk is at Princess Point to review fall asters and goldenrods along with other late season blooms. HNC staff will also speak about the connection between native plants and biodiversity, and how the Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) is working to enhance and protect nature. Attendees of all levels of knowledge and interest are encouraged to come out and meet fellow naturalists. Please wear appropriate footwear and dress according to the weather. Binoculars can be helpful but are not necessary.
Meet at the parking lot at 335 Longwood Road, Hamilton (
