Stories of the Iroquois Sand Bar with John Terpstra

Join local poet and author John Terpstra for a fascinating look at the 12,000-year-old Iroquois Sand Bar, located on the high ground between Cootes Paradise and Hamilton Harbour. A Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, John brings a warm, thoughtful perspective to this ancient glacial feature, weaving together natural history, place, and story in a way that invites us to see our city in a whole new light.

This event is transit accessible. Terrain consists of flat grassed terrain and spans approximately 2 km.
