Stormwater Birding Outing

The William Connell Park on West 5th Street has been a hub of bird activity over the last several years, thanks to a large stormwater pond surrounded by mixed vegetation. This location has harboured many sparrow, waterfowl, thrush, warbler and raptor species over time, so let’s see what’s there ahead of the big migration push. Join Jackson Hudecki for a few hours at this (mostly) accessible park, where paved walkways and hard-compact trails will allow for walkers and wheelchairs, with only a few slight hills.
