Tree Planting at McQuesten Urban Farm
October 8, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join HNC staff for a tree planting event at McQuesten Urban Farm on Wednesday October 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Volunteers have been working on the site for several years to remove invasive/weedy plants and replace them with native plants in an effort to increase habitat for pollinators (insects) along the edges of the urban farm.
New and seasoned tree planters are welcome. Trees (and a few wildflowers) will be in primarily 1 gallon pots. A limited number of gloves and shovels will be available to use, please bring your own if possible.
Please RSVP to Jen at land@hamiltonnature.org
