Twilight Walk at Hendrie Valley
Join Peter Thoem, lifelong birder and nature enthusiast, for a walk to see, touch, hear, and maybe smell or taste birds, frogs, plants, and whatever awaits us when the sun sets late.
The ‘plus more’ is an invitation to join Peter after the walk as he carries out an audio frog survey in the valley as part of a large-scale marsh monitoring project.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Contact fieldevents@hamiltonnature.org.
Be sure to dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for maintained trails with some hills.
Meet at the Cherry Hill Gate parking lot (1129 Plains Road West, Burlington). A parking fee is required but it is free to members of the RBG. (Note: This lot is across the street from the main RBG building. Parking at the main building is free but you must walk over to Cherry Hill Gate.)This location can be reached by public transit from Hamilton or Burlington. Take Burlington Transit Route #1 and ask for the stop nearest to the RBG (Stop #700 or #701)
