Urban Hike
March 15 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join Paul O’Hara and Julia Hitchcock for a relaxed, medium-paced walk along the Escarpment Rail Trail near Wentworth Street South. Along the way, we’ll take in views of the Niagara Escarpment, enjoy the trees, and chat about winter tree and plant identification, their traditional uses, and the disturbance vectors in our urban woodlands. The trail is flat and gravel-paved, with a few muddy spots to watch for.
Please RSVP to Celine at fieldevents@hamiltonnature.org for directions and parking instructions.
